Chihuahuas come in a wide range of sizes, head shapes, colors, and coat lengths. Most of our Chihuahuas are adult or senior Chihuahuas pulled from shelters. We do sometimes rescue puppies. As a Chihuahua Rescue, we take in Chihuahuas and Chihuahua mixes but we do also rescue other breeds and sometimes we rescue cats. Chihuahuas are a great breed for those who live in apartments. They are compact dogs who travel well and love to cuddle! Contrary to popular belief, not all Chihuahuas are snappy or yappers. Chihuahuas typically bond tightly with one person. They are generally better with older children. Chihuahuas can live a life span of more than 15 years if cared for properly.  

 

 

ADOPTION FEES

Our Adoption Fees vary depending on the age and health of the Chihuahua and depending on whether or not we are adopting out of state. Some states require additional tests for a health certificate for the dog and this may affect the adoption fee. Generally we charge a set fee for adoption which includes a fully vetted pet and the required health certificate required if traveling out of state and copies of all medical records in our possession.  Transport is available for an additional fee.
